Best Practice Network International & Thrive forge global strategic partnership with IFIP
Thrive and Best Practice Network International’s commitment to inclusive education has been recognised through a strategic partnership with the International Forums of Inclusion Practitioners (IFIP).
The agreement will see the two organisations share their joint expertise with inclusion practitioners, leaders and policymakers worldwide.
The partnership follows the naming of Thrive’s Head of Theory and Practice Viv Trask-Hall as a Distinguished Fellow of the IFIP. The award was made in recognition of her exceptional, sustained and significant contribution to the field of inclusion.
Viv Trask-Hall said: “The partnership between Thrive, Best Practice Network International and IFIP supports our drive and ambition to influence policy at a global level, and to form collaborative partnerships internationally. We would like to build and share best practice and seek to support and advocate for children and young people worldwide. “Thirty years ago, Thrive’s founders had the ambition of ‘reaching every child’. Our partnership with IFIP brings us closer to achieving that on a global scale.”
Viv added: “Being named a Distinguished Fellow is a real honour, and I am deeply grateful to IFIP for awarding it to me.“I see it as a call to continue working with children and young people and advocating to ensure they have representation, diversity, inclusion and visibility. When we prioritise inclusion, we strengthen our communities and clear the way for others.”

Best Practice Network International delivers high-quality training and professional development programmes for educators worldwide. It is the international arm of Best Practice Network, one of the UK’s largest providers of development and training for education professionals.
The IFIP is a voluntary, global membership organisation of hundreds of inclusion practitioners with a vision to enable every teacher, through inclusive practices, to teach every child in their classroom, no matter what their ability. IFIP members include school-based practitioners, authors, university professors and policy makers at national and international levels. The organisation held its inaugural World Inclusion Congress last October in Kazakhstan, which was attended by representatives from both companies.
